Resident Fauna

The archive keeps, besides its specimens, a small resident fauna of its own: instruments, marks, and habits of the building. They are catalogued below for the thorough reader. Entries the reader has not yet verified are given only by binomial and habitat, the particulars blotted until confirmed by first-hand observation. Records are kept in the reader's own hand, in the reader's own browser, and nowhere else; the Naturalist does not inspect them, though he suspects.
